PM Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G) is a significant initiative of the Central Government aimed at providing safe and permanent housing to the homeless and vulnerable sections of society living in rural areas. Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to families living in kutcha houses or those who do not have their own house to live in, to construct permanent houses so that they can lead a dignified life with all the basic amenities.

Process to view the rural list
If you do not have a registration number and you live in a village, you can check the list by following the steps below carefully.
- First of all, visit the official website – https://pmayg.dord.gov.in/ .
- Now the homepage of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin will open in front of you.
- Here, click on the option Awassoft present in the top menu bar.
- No,w click on the Report option present in the drop-down menu.

- After this, you will be redirected to the page https://report.pmayg.dord.gov.in/netiay/newreport.aspx .
- Her,e you click on the option of Beneficiary details for verification present in the Social Audit Reports (H) section .

- Now the MIS Report page will open in front of you.
- Now on this page, select the name of your state, name of district, name of block, name of village and select PRADHAN MANTRI AWAAS Yojana in the scheme benefits section.

- After this, enter the captcha code and click on the submit button.
💡After this, the beneficiary list of your village will open in front of you, on this page you can see who all have been allotted houses in your village, and what is the current progress, if you want you can also print this page.
What is the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin List?
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G) List 2026 is the list of eligible beneficiaries who will get financial assistance from the government to build a pucca house in rural areas.
The list is available online at https://pmayg.dord.gov.in/ and can be checked by state, district, block, and gram panchayat. Beneficiaries are selected based on SECC 2011 data and gram sabha verification.
💡Those who live in cities are listed on the urban housing beneficiary list, while those in rural areas are listed on the rural housing list. If you live in a rural area, you can check your name on the rural housing list.
Check PM Awas Yojana Gramin Beneficiary Details
If you have the PM Awas registration number and want to check the beneficiary details, you can do so by following the steps below:
- First of all, visit PM Awas Yojana Rural Portal (pmayg nic in).
- Now you click on the Stakeholders option in the MENU section on the homepage.
- Now, a dropdown menu will open in front of you, where you click on the option of IAY / PMAYG Beneficiary .

- Now a new page will open in front of you, where you enter your registration number and click on the submit button.
In this way, you can check the beneficiary details of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
Check Instalment Details
If your application has been selected under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin and you are an eligible beneficiary, you can check your PMAY-G instalment details by following the procedure below:
- First of all, register yourself on the UMANG app or portal and log in.
- Now search for ” Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana – Gramin ” in the Services section.

You will now be presented with a list of all the services available under this plan, including the following options:
- FTO Tracking
- Panchayat Wise Permanent Wait List
- Installment Details
- Beneficiary Details
- Convergence Details

Click on the “Instalment Details” option, then enter your registration number and click the Search button. This will display your instalment details.
💡Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY-G), eligible beneficiaries in the plains are provided financial assistance of ₹1.20 lakh and those in hilly and difficult areas (Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and North-Eastern states) are provided financial assistance of ₹1.30 lakh. This entire financial assistance is transferred directly to the beneficiary’s bank account through DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). An additional assistance of ₹12,000 for house construction and toilet construction is provided under the Swachh Bharat Mission-Gramin (SBM-G).
PMAY-G Application Process
PM Awas Yojana was known as Indira Awas Yojana (IAY), which was started in the year 1985. This scheme was changed to Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana in the year 2015.
PMGAY, known as Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin, is a part of the PM Awas Yojana. Under this, the benefit of the housing scheme is given only to the people of rural areas.
To avail the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMAY-G), interested candidates have to follow the following procedure:
- Collect the required documents for registration, like Aadhar card, job card, bank account details, etc.
- The applicant has to go to the Gram Panchayat office and apply.
- Following the application, the applicant’s details are confirmed by the Planning Inspector.
- After verification, eligible applicants are approved and given financial assistance.
- After registration, beneficiaries can view their instalment information, FTO tracking, and beneficiary list online.
💡Applicants cannot apply for PMAY-G online themselves. Only authorized planning inspectors complete this process.
Required Documents
- Aadhaar number: Aadhaar card and a self-attested copy must be submitted. If the applicant is illiterate, a consent letter with a thumbprint is required.
- Job Card: A job card is required under MNREGA.
- Bank Account Details: Beneficiary’s bank account details have to be given.
- Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) Number: Information related to housing under Swachh Bharat Mission.
- Affidavit: An affidavit that the applicant or his/her family does not own any permanent house.
Eligibility
The eligibility criteria under the Pradhan Mantri Gramin Awas Yojana (PMAY-G) is as follows:
- People living in kutcha houses: Those who have a kutcha house of one or two rooms.
- Homeless families: Those who do not have a permanent house to live in.
- Economically Weaker Section: Families living below the poverty line (BPL).
- Socially Disadvantaged Sections: Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Other Backwards Classes (OBC), and people from minority communities.
- Special groups: Widowed, handicapped, elderly, and families with disabled members.
- Deprived families as perthe Socio-Economic Caste Census (SECC) 2011: Those included in the SECC data and whose information has been verified by the Gram Sabha.
These families are given the benefits of the scheme on a priority basis.
